Introduction


(1) Main Functions
DTI Tracking System is a diffusion tensor image processing, fiber tracking and 3D visualization program. It is suitable for calculating DTI data, showing and saving tracked fibers and statistics results. In contrast to others commonly used DTI data-processing program, DTI Tracking has more user-friendly operational procedures, better deal with abnormal situations. Importantly, it also adds tensor calculation batch processing and fiber tracking batch processing, which are particularly useful operations for avoiding repeated operations, greatly reducing the cost of data analysis time and improving data processing efficiency.

Figure 1. 3D view window shows a tri-plane image, which can be manipulated as follows:

  • Rotation: Holding left button, you can move the mouse in 3D view window to rotate 3D volume. You can also rotate it around an axis using pulley wheel.
  • Full screen: 3D view will access to full-screen by double-clicking on 3D view window area. This operation can be cancelled in the same way.
  • 2D projection view windows display sliced images in different directions.
  • Full screen: 2D projection view windows will access to full-screen by double-clicking the left button outside green pane. This operation can be cancelled in the same way.

You can activate "choose axis" by right-clicking on 3D view window and selecting "choose axis" option. "Choose axis" option is the same as "Rotate Axes" option on "View " control panel.

Figure 4. By right-clicking on 3D view window, you can select "Image Level Adjusting" option. This command is used for displaying the whole 3D volume gray level histogram (a). Suppose your current image is a color map, the program displays histograms: a histogram of Red component (b), a histogram of Green component (c), and a histogram of Blue component (d), which can be selected using tabs in the dialog.

 

The function of light level in 2D projection view windows is the same as light level in 3D view window.

 

You can activate "max-view" by right-clicking on 2D projection view windows and selecting "max-view" option. Another way is double-clicking left button outside green pane. Using "default-view" option or double-clicking outside green pane, 2D projection view window will exit "max-view" command.                                                                        for more detailed contents...
